Reading Notation in Music

Music has 3 things that make it music.  It has pitch, duration and expression.  The pitch has to do with the notes going up and down on the page.  This is what this class is about.  You will learn the notes on the staff as it relates to the notes on the bagpipe chanter.  At the end of this class you will have no problem recognizing the notes on the staff.  It will take you about 30 minutes to do.  All you need is a pencil.  There are 2 .pdf files.  One contains the worksheets and the other contains the answers to the worksheets.  Download and print the 2 files attached.  Use the "reading music" file first.  No cheating now!
