Kawasaki ZH2 Catch Can Kit

The ZH2 has a tendency to pull oil out of the crankcase with the oem crankcase breather setup. By keeping the oil level in the mid to low range on the site glass the problem can be minimized but not eliminated. The oil that’s pulled out of the crankcase coats the inside of the air box, fills the catch bottle, accumulates in the air plenum, and goes through the combustion chamber which can cause reduced engine performance, detonation, reduced spark plug life, and reduced spark plug performance. With a BAM Performance oil catch can kit the crankcase breather hose is removed from the airbox, the airbox is sealed up and the crankcase breather hose is routed through the catch can and vented out above the chain in the front sprocket cover.  With this setup, if any oil were to escape from the catch can it would simply oil the chain.
