We have had big bass tear a bluegill in half and the Mend It glued them back together. Use an Owner Split Ring to attach a Mustad Triple Grip treble hook to the bottom of the swimbait for better hookups. Fish the boot tail bluegills around structure in 4-8 feet of water. Fish the flat tail bluegills off the bottom around drop offs and ledges.
