Eye of the Needle Cowl <br/><small>knitting pattern</small>

A cabled neckwarmer to knit in two sizes (S/L) is just the thing to fill an open collar when cold winds blow. Simple cable crosses in a vertical pattern create a neat, modern motif that is engaging to knit and delicious to wear. Knit in a round, tightly twisted yarn for crisp stitch definition and a snug fit; for a softer texture and fit, work in a relaxed yarn or fiber blend. Sizing is easily adjusted to use a larger skein of yarn (see pattern notes). Sample shown is size L in special edition Kent Aran, color Mussell Shell Matching Motifs: Eye of the Needle Mittens, Eye of the Needle Cap Suggested Yarns: Special edition Kent Aran,  Stone Soup Worsted, Kent Worsted, Confection Worsted, Better Breakfast Worsted, Targhee Tango Worsted, or any worsted/aran weight yarn that knits to pattern gauge.
