Although he never left France, Henri Rousseau imagined the flora and fauna of faraway places to create his lush jungle atmospheres. This tapestry was inspired by the dense orange grove and purple flowers in Woman Walking in an Exotic Forest. Carry this as a clutch or use it inside a larger tote as an oversized wallet--the foldover top with magnetic snap will keep your belongings secure.  Designed exclusively for the Barnes Foundation, this custom jacquard fabric was produced on traditional Flemish looms, drawing on many generations of tapestry production. We’ve collaborated with a Netherlands-based studio to create a bespoke collection inspired by beloved works in the collection. Details: Jacquard woven textile magnetic closure Black leather trim and black woven poly lining Measures 7.5" across at top, 8.5" across at widest point, and 2" deep Shown with bucket bag and small zipped case, sold separately
