Rousseau Jungle tapestry crescent crossbody bag
Although he never left France, Henri Rousseau imagined the flora and fauna of faraway places to create his lush jungle atmospheres. This tapestry was inspired by the dense orange grove and purple flowers in Woman Walking in an Exotic Forest. This crescent-shaped cross-body handbag shows your love of fine art in a bright pattern. Complete with a secure zipper closure and adjustable strap. Designed exclusively for the Barnes Foundation, this custom jacquard fabric was produced on traditional Flemish looms, drawing on many generations of tapestry production. We’ve collaborated with a Netherlands-based studio to create a bespoke collection inspired by beloved works in the collection.
