Classic cool climate red wine sourced entirely from Schödl’s sandstone and chalky loess soils plots in Loidesthal and Blumenthal. St. Laurent hails from the Pinot family and is often described as a deeper colored, beefier version of Pinot Noir. This wine was fermented in stainless steel to retain varietal freshness and then aged in large (2000L) oak casks at a constant natural temperature of 14° C / 57° F.
