A blend of Straight Bourbon Whiskeys Distilled and aged in Tennessee and Indiana Crafted and bottled in Kentucky Selection of 5 and 8-year-old barrels Aged in American white oak barrels 113 proof cask strength bottling Mash bill: corn, rye (high and low), malted barley   AWARDS: San Francisco World Spirits Competition (2017): Gold Ultimate Spirits Challenge (2018): Finalist,  95 Points Batch 013 is the combination of a 5-year-old Indiana bourbon and 5 and 8-year-old high rye Tennessee bourbons. The 5 year-old barrels were chosen for their brilliant corn-forward flavor and the 8 year old to provide structure and depth. Thick slabs of smoked bacon, tiny curls of cedar wood shavings, bitter chocolate pastilles and Georgia peach preserves wash over the palate in rapid succession. Subtle notes of open fire cooked corn bread dusted in zesty chili powder give way to crumbles of dehydrated oranges. Hints of salty crushed minerals and rich lemon curd round out this bourbon.
