Snowman Kit
Since I was a child I have always loved snowmen. One of my favorite wintery things about living here in Wisconsin is when there is a beautiful snowfall and shortly after the entire neighborhood is sprinkled with snowmen. It is magical. I’ve designed many different versions of snowmen throughout the years but this one is my current favorite. The Snowman, which is about 4.5” tall without the hat and 9” tall including the pointy hat, is worked from the bottom-up in one piece. The safety eyes, or pieces of coal, in this case, are placed along the way in specific spots. Purl bumps are placed as a guide for picking up and knitting the carrot nose. The hat and scarf are knit separately. The tiny pom is made using a fork for which I have a video tutorial for you linked in the pattern. The stick arms are optional. The twigs I used were found outside and trimmed. It’s really fun searching for just the right twigs, you’ll see. Snowman Kit Information * You get three skeins of Wisconsin Woolen Spu
