Sweet Bee and Flower Kit

The Sweet Bee project is made completely seamlessly and worked in the round from bottom to top. The wings and antennae are picked up and knit right onto the bee. Everything is marked along the way to take out the guesswork. The flower is worked in the round and then you continue right on to work the “hood” back and forth in garter stitch. The petals are picked up and knitted onto the front edge of the hood. The original pattern and kit were worked in our Home Fingering Weight but this new Sweet Bee Kit is now available in our Wisconsin Woolen Spun Sport Weight yarn in 7 custom colorways:Sweet Bee: Bumble (gold), Inky (black), Birch (creamy white)3 Petal Choices: Jam (red), Blushing (light pink), Fable (light purple) Stem/Hood: Vine (light heathered green) comes in our Woolens sport weight line.Important Needle Size Note: The pattern is written for fingering weight and the kit is sport weight yarn. I used a size US size 4 needle for the Sweet Bee and a US size 5 needle for the Flower.
