Ryman Rye is a variety that mainly used agriculturally for forage, and fall/winter erosion control; Texas farmers utilize this rye as part of their regenerative rotations. Compared to traditional Texas rye cover varieties, Ryman exudes more flavor and function. This is a mild rye. If you are looking for a stronger rye, try our Danko Rye. Danko Rye (or Dankowskie Nowe in Polish) was developed in 1976 by the Polish Plant Breeding Institute, Poznan, Poland. Our crop exhibits bold aromas of cocoa and baking spice, resulting in complex, earthy breads. This rye also pairs well with anything chocolate!
