Handmade labels on recycled vinyl Seattle rapper Kid Sensation (formerly known as Stephen Spence) was first discovered as a guest on Sir-Mix-a-Lot's Swass album. Spence dropped his own album in summer of 1990, and a couple years later he teamed up with Ken Griffey Jr. on a track titled, "The Way I Swing." It was an ideal pairing, as Griffey himself was a kid sensation... debuting in the majors at just 19 years old, and quickly rising to stardom. This artwork is made from layered blue, black, orange, and gold vinyl. I've exaggerated the halftone gradient pattern from the border of Griffey's 1990 Topps as the base for this design, while also incorporating the player name area. The A-side of the album is complete with The Kid's image, cut from an authentic vintage #336, while the B-side is features the Junk Wax logo. The actual record used is a completely random album. What songs are on it? Spin it and find out!
