Hand-painted collectible baseball card Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez got engaged in March of 2019. Not long afterward... J-Lo had the amazing opportunity to meet with Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Lopez asked, "You had the most amazing marriage. What’s the marriage advice? Give me the secret, please! I need it.” Ginsburg replied, "I’ll tell you what my mother-in-law told me on my wedding day, which was, it’s good to be a little deaf sometimes.” This piece honors some extraordinary women: J-Lo, and two leading figures of the feminist movement... Ruth Bader Ginsburg (1933-2020), and artist Barbara Kruger (b1945). RBG is depicted on the left, as commonly seen in other tributes, to convey liberal politics. Kruger is famous for using the Futura Bold Oblique font. Her iconic work has been misappropriated by streetwear brand Supreme. So, I'm using the font to pay homage to the late Supreme Court Justice.
