Service Description: This service is intended for customers who need to replace the Picatinny mount on their Bering Optics thermal scopes, either because they are repurposing the scope for a different rifle platform or wish to upgrade to a better mount for improved performance. Often, scopes initially purchased for one type of rifle, such as an AR-platform, are later repurposed for bolt-action rifles. In many cases, the standard AR-platform mount prevents the bolt from opening properly, forcing you to install the mount in the farthest position on the Picatinny rail, which makes comfortable aiming impossible. As explained in this article, the solution is to replace the mount with the correct model for your new application. However, replacing the mount is not something that can be done at home.
