Stability: It is a fast, overstable driver that is slightly less stable than the D1 Max Maximum Distance: Compared to the original D2, it offers increased speed and glide, leading to a softer finish. Consistency: Designed for a narrower, more accurate flight path that is forgiving for power throwers.  Physical Feel & Design Shallower Rim: The D2 Max has a shallower rim depth (1.2 cm) than the original D2, which many players find more comfortable for a clean release, especially for sidearms.
