Description Featuring a pattern of lattice work and scallop shells, the Cape Cod Cotton Matelasse Bedspread is a heavyweight design favored for its subtle coastal theme that fits any decor. Originally introduced as a flat jacquard in the 1970s, this design was discontinued when Bates slowed their weaving of “flat jacqs” in favor of the more popular matelasse bedspreads. In the early 2000s, the Cape Cod was reintroduced as the matelasse bedspread we continue to produce today.
