Variegated Desert Rose

The Desert Rose is a succulent plant that stores water in its swollen base called a caudex. Often used as bonsai, the base of these plants have gnarled, knobby roots making an eye catching display. The branches are grey-green with deep green, oval-shaped leaves in a spiral pattern at the tops. From the top, tube-shaped, 5-petaled blooms of pink and white bloom. These are hybrid Adeniums that are grafted at the base providing a new variety of variegated leaves. Most blooms range from bright pinks to deep red. Prefers bright, direct light or a bright window and to dry out between waterings. Available in 5" pots.
