Plug the battery backup UPS into an available wall socket, then plug the Eppendorf epMotion 5070 into one of the available receptacles on the back of the battery backup UPS, turn it on, and forget about it. If utility power is lost while the Eppendorf epMotion 5070 is on and connected to the battery backup UPS, the instrument will continue to operate as if power was never lost until either power is restored or battery power is depleted (whichever occurs first).
