This challenge coin depicts the cowgirl design found on original ship art of the Battleship Texas in raised metal. The other side bears Texas' nickname, "The Mighty T" with the Texas flag in the background. The outer band on both sides lists the USS Texas name and the years of commission, along with representative stars from when she won five battle stars during WWII on a black background. Each coin is 2" in diameter and 4 mm in width. Coins are produced by DOD Coins.
