Viking Ax Description This heavy duty Viking Ax / Viking Axe is an 20" ax with a 5" head designed for battle. It is made from pattern welded Damascus steel and designed for beauty and function. The Viking ax was a weapon used in the middle ages and was used and owned by most Scandinavians during the Viking reign. The blade is inscribed with Valknut imagery. It has a carbon level of .95% which is one of the highest carbon levels for any type of steel.
