Luftballon Sofa by GTV

Luftballons, the upholstered furniture collection by Valter Cagna from Gebrüder Thonet Vienna design department, is characterized by soft lines and sinuous curves, inspired by the contours of a balloon, as its name suggests. Comprised of a small sofa and a lounge chair, the family of seats is distinguished by the large volumes of cushions, carefully balanced in size and proportions. The solid frame made of steam-curved beechwood, an element of continuity with Gebrüder Thonet Vienna’s legacy, supports the upholstered seat and ensures great comfort. With just a few components and a strong and playful character, Luftballons decorates the room and adds a touch of playfulness and personality to the space, making it also an ideal solution in the hospitality sector.
