This species comes in a variety of colorations and fin types. This variety is the same in appearance as they are in the wild, and is brown in color with some mottled, lighter brown markings and spots throughout the body. As they age and gain size, short, whisker like appendages will grow from their nose. These help them to "smell" food and give them their name.
