18th C Antique Queen Anne Country Primitive Blanket Box / Chest W Boot Jack Ends

  With our highest compliments and utmost honors Bay Colony Antiques is proud to offer for sale this exceptional 18th century antique Queen Anne pumpkin pine blanket box with boot jack ends. The chest exhibits nice proportions with nice scrolling patterns at the feet. The box is crafted from old growth New England pine that’s developed a warm patina over the years. The chest has two drawers with dovetailed construction and hand chamfered bottoms. The box retains it's old original iron lock but the upper hasp is missing. We have a few blanket chests being offered for sale at the moment and are beyond excited to add this early & rare American treasure alongside a few choice others. My brother and I hand select each item we offer to our clients and anything that doesn't make the cut we simply pass off to auctions & a few other retail outlets.
