We’re extremely fond of tambour secretary desks and always try to keep a few period & custom examples in stock. Secretary desks like this were almost exclusively made in Boston and nearby cities like Portsmouth, Salem, & New Bedford. This desk was made CA 1810 and is decorated with exceptional cuts of Mahogany, Tiger Maple, & Birds Eye Maple. The upper section has a molded top with two mahogany drawers with cross banded mahogany borders & a vibrant tiger maple border
