Bay Colony Antiques is pleased to offer for sale this great antique early 20th century Arts & Crafts / Mission Oak desk chair. The chair is signed Milwaukee Chair CO 1914 on the metal mechanism and has a Milwaukee Chair Company decal on the back of the seat. The company was founded in 1889 and quickly became one of the biggest employers and producers of furniture in the area. The original factory was destroyed in the 1899 fire but like a phoenix from the ashes they rose again.
