Bay Colony Antiques is pleased to offer this exceptional early 20th century Antique Arts & Crafts / Mission Oak bench. While we were unable to locate a maker's mark, its craftsmanship speaks for itself, reflecting the quality found in pieces from renowned Arts & Crafts furniture manufacturers such as Gustav Stickley, L&JG Stickley, Charles Limbert, Quaint Furniture, JM Young, Harden, Lifetime, Roycroft, Shop of the Crafters, etc. The entire bench was expertly crafted from high-grade solid Quarter Sawn Oak, showcasing the distinctive and vibrant rays of the grain. It features a 15-slat back, large paddle arms, and slatted sides, all classic elements of the Arts & Crafts style that was gaining popularity in American homes during the early 20th century. The original spring seat frame remains intact and in excellent condition providing superior comfort.
