We are immensely proud to offer this file cabinet as it is one of the best examples we have been able to secure in quite some time. At the end of the 19th century, and into the early 20th century, these cabinets were built for libraries, offices, and businesses across the country. This cabinet is one of the finest ever put into production with a case made out of a premium grade of white oak including sections that have boldly figured tiger oak grain. The case is built with raised paneled construction which allows the wood to adjust to changes in atmosphere with each panel expanding and contrasting slightly within the framework. This design allows for these cabinets to age over time without suffering any changes or damage. Each of the fourteen drawers is fitted with the original brass drawer pull that have an area for identifying labels. The lower six dra
