Bay Colony Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this wonderful & clean early 20th century antique Arts & Crafts Oak 4 drawer file cabinet. The cabinet retains most of its original hardware with the exception of a couple of file rods and a couple of index card plates. The original brass Library Bureau Sole Makers tag is still present above the drawers. Library Bureau Sole Makers crafted files of all sizes along with a wide array of other library & office furnishing like desk, desk chairs, display cases, etc. Library Bureau’s are the Cadillac of Oak files and we’re always willing to pay a bit more for a superior file. Their cabinets were extremely well made, and their durability is a true testament to their craftsmanship.
