The mirror stands atop 4 carved rolled french feet with water leaf carvings directly above. There's a very attractive turtle shaped base with a thick heavy gauge mahogany molded edge. This mirror is made of highly coveted Santo Domingan Mahogany. This older species was farmed to near extinction with only tiny quantities surviving under well deserved protectionist measures.
