We are delighted to offer for sale this antique early 19th century primitive pine jelly cupboard in a desirable bittersweet yellow over red paint. The surface is masterfully done, built up in stages to intertwine the contrasting colors in an aesthetically pleasing manner. The raised escutcheons are carved from the same piece of wood as the doors. This struck us as an unusual embellishment on a primitive country piece such as this but it's a lovely touch.
