We're pleased to offer for sale this early 20th century antique Amberg four drawer oak file cabinet. Cameron Amberg & CO was established in 1868 in Chicago, IL. The company was a prolific producer of letter files and a wide array of office furniture. This 4 drawer example is in it's old original fumed oak finish with AMBERG decal on the front face. The rich dark color is achieved from an ammonia fuming process that darkens the finish and is highly desirable on old Arts & Crafts
