We had the privilege of recently purchasing a collection of solid tiger maple furniture from a west coast family who received a household of incredible custom made furnishings from their father. The gentleman was a master craftsman quite familiar with early American furniture and he build each piece as a labor of love for his children forty years ago. We feel fortunate to have been able to meet this family and purchase the exceptional collection which they owned as they had no further need for the furniture after deciding to downsize their household. The dining table has a commanding presence and is boldly figured with the choicest solid tiger maple hardwood available at the time it was built.
