Salvation for the Lost

Luke 19:10 Jesus came to seek and to save the lost. His coming was anticipated by the Jews, foretold in their blood sacrifices and the declaration of their prophets. Sin separated mankind from a relationship and fellowship with God. Christ's coming was necessary to fulfill the requirements of the Law, to pay the sin debt for all His people, reconciling them to God and saving them from the wrath to come.
