This is the non-reverse or external reverse engine that fits most pre-2010 buggies with either no reverse (such as the Yerf Dog Spiderbox or Tomberlin Crossfire) or an external reverse gear box as with all other pre-2010 buggies with the exception of the Crossfire 150R.  Call and speak with our technicians at 434 447 4870 to confirm your engine. We bore out the case of your new engine and install a 62mm big bore kit increasing your piston and cylinder size from 54.5mm to 62mm, adding an additional estimated 10% horsepower. You can also upgrade to the Stage 2 transmission system, including a high stall clutch and a performance variator, giving you a full high performance transmission system.
