Winter Botanical Illustration Workshop with Lara Call Gastinger - Sunday 11.06.22, 1PM - 3PM

Join us at the Classroom in Belmont for an afternoon with world-renowned artist Lara Call Gastinger. Lara will be leading a workshop focused on illustrating winter botanicals, wherein participants can expect to build foundational ink illustrating skills, or sharpen their existing artistic practice. By the end of the workshop, each participant will have created their own beautiful + unique winter botanical illustration of winterberry which will be mounted to a mat - perfect for gifting or displaying this holiday season!  All necessary materials will be provided.  About the instructor: Lara Call Gastinger is a botanical artist and illustrator in Central Virginia. She was the chief illustrator for the Flora of Virginia Project and a two time gold medalist at the Royal Horticultural Society Botanical Art Shows in London (2007, 2018).
