Chinese Carved Wood Wall Panel Republic Era

A deeply carved round wood panel of an immortal with attendants in a garden setting. A lightweight wood has been deeply and roundly carved with trees, a pagoda, attendants, and an immortal within a six lobed frame. The design is pierced in many places, and it has been colored.  The back has an ornate brass hanger at the top. The back is stained in a dark color. There is an old paper sticker on the back which is unreadable. MEASUREMENTS 12 7/8 in (32.7 cm) tall x 11 ¾ in (29.8 cm) wide x ¾ in (1.9 cm) thick. Weighs 12.3 oz (350 g) CONDITION There are no breaks, chips, cracks, or repairs. Two holes were drilled in the back and so it might once have been attached to something else. There are remnants of gilding, and the colors are very worn. An old carved folk-art wall hanging to give richness and substance to the home décor
