The redsign of the Prestige Series Green3 phono cartridges include having their coil design reconfigured and the effective moving mass of their generating system reduced by 17%. The Green3 utilizes a 3-piece OTL cantilever technology, standard oxygen free wire in the coils, and Grado's uniquely designed elliptical diamond mounted in a brass bushing. Every Grado Green3 phono cartridge is hand-made in Brooklyn, New York and thoroughly tested for frequency response, channel balance, phase linearity, inductance, and resistance. With such rigorous testing, only 15% of the Black1 cartridges meet the higher quality standards required to become a Green3. All Green2 cartridges feature user-replaceable styli.
