Like North Carolina and Georgia, Alabama too issued their own state level production jackets for her forces within the various armies of the Confederacy. These jacket varied in style and detail, but generally prescribed at least in some points to the official state regulations (as can be seen here). Currently I offer two such examples, one based on the lightly trimmed jacket worn by the 23rd Alabama Infantry, which follows the regulations loosely.
