Founder's Formula Australian Botanicals Nourishing Facial Oils has been created with nutrient-rich ingredients sourced from pristine environments to ensure high levels of phyto-actives. Strawberry Gum Oil (Eucalyptus olida) is especially high in pro-aging anti-oxidant and hydrating phyto-actives with proven strong anti-inflammatory and anti-fatigue activity. Australian Sandalwood (Fusanus spicatus) grows in the semi-arid parts of Australia. Like its Indian cousin, Australian sandalwood is highly prized in skin care. Rich in Omega 3, 6, 9, and ximenynic acid, it reduces the appearance of fine lines, improves skin tone and hydration, and supports dermal strength.  Native Snowflower Oil (Melaluca alternifolia) contains flavan-3-ol, a catechin with 100 times more potent antioxidant activity than Vitamin C and 25 times more potent than Vitamin E. Snowflower also contains quercetin which is a proven anti-inflammatory and an anti-oxidant surpassing even retonic acid. It also has high levels of kaempferol which serve to break up melanin for de-pigmentation. Rosella Flower (Hibiscus sabdariffa) seed oil. Hibiscus Flowers are rich in anti-oxidants and mildly acidic, allowing gentle exfoliation over time. Rosella is thought to have originated in Sri Lanka, introduced to Australia by Indonesian fisherman. In the wild, you can find this edible hibiscus growing in the forest, rainforest and sand dune regions of our tropical north. Having grown here for thousands of years, Rosella has developed characteristics that make it uniquely Australian. Buddha Wood Oil (Eremophila mitchellii), also known as Australian Desert Rosewood, grows in the inland areas of New South Wales and Queensland. Commonly used as a meditation oil, Buddha Wood is ideal as a calming oil for skin. Kangaroo Flower (Anigozanthos flavidus) in Sunflower oil (Helianthus annuus). Excellent for hydration and skin support, the desert Kangaroo Flower is packed with nutritious fatty acids. Sunflower oil is high in Vitamin E and also contains oleic acid that acts as a partitioning agent cutting through the skin barrier, moisturising and nourishing the skin as well as assisting the absorption of other oil-soluble ingredients.  Macadamia (Macadamia ternifolia) seed oil is rich in natural hydrating fatty acids including Omega 7 for mega-hydration. Macadamia is an Australian native, sometimes called Queensland Nut Tree or Maroochy Nut. Hemp Oil (Cannabis sativa) is rich in Omega 3, 6, 7 and 9. It is included in the formula for its exceptional nourishing and soothing properties. Marula (Sclerocaryabirrea) seed oil is not an Australian oil, but is included in this formulation for its exceptional absorbability, to balance the other heavier oils, and because it is rich in antioxidants and Omegas 6 and 9. Australian-grown Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) seed oil is called an oil, but is technically a wax. We include it in this formula because it is rich in Vitamins E and B complex. Jojoba has skin repair and anti-inflammatory properties which help reduce redness caused by dryness. Jojoba shares the same molecular structure as the natural oils found in healthy human skin and assists the absorption of the Australian Botanical Oils in this formula.  Tocopherol is a natural Vitamin E preservative with strong anti-oxidant action. The Vitamin E in Australian Botanicals Nourishing Facial Oils supports the efficacy of our Vitamin C Serum. For best results apply in the following order:  serums, then oils, then moisturizer. If you are using more than one serum in your routine, it is fine to mix the serums before applying. Then follow up with oils, then moisturizer. You can also pat oils on a dry face during the day any time, over your moisturizer. Storage: To extend the life of your Founder's Formula natural oils and serums, store in a cool, dry, dark place.
