A velvet smooth finish all around the chest is an extremely durable catalyzed acrylic, with non-glaring matte sheen. Interior is meticulously lined with black Silvercloth with anti-tarnish treatment to protect your plated cutlery.  Drawers open and close smoothly with ball-bearing drawer glides. Upper drawer stores 16 knives in rank, center drawer storage rack has 8 slots for table forks and spoons, and the lower drawer storage rack slots spaced at 2" apart, 6 slots, to hold large serving pieces and more.
