Prunus Basalt

Soft and squishy, this hushed pink yarn is a perfect pink. It is named after a genus of tree, which over 430 types of plants fall into, including our beloved fruit trees, such as plums, cherries, peaches, nectarines, apricots, and almonds.   basalt basebulky weight/100% fine wool blend150y, 4oz / 12st=4", US 11 The second photo shows Prunus to the left of a similar but oh so different color in the same base, Citrus (on the right). Prunus is a softer, lighter pink. All yarns were dyed and stored in a smoke and cat free environment. Due to the unpredictability of natural dyeing, all hanks will differ with some slight variegation.
