What you need to make Propolis Tincture: Raw Propolis (from trusted source) High Proof Alcohol (70%140 proof, grape alcohol is the best) Glass Jar with lid Coffee Filter or cheesecloth Small funnel A Common Ratio is 50 gr Propolis + 100 ml Alcohol. Directions: Note: Propolis may has bits of wood or bee parts. 1. Freeze it for a few hours. 2. Break or crush into small pieces. 3. Grind it in coffee grinder and place in a clean glass jar. 4. Pour alcohol (you may make glycerin or distilled water-based propolis extract too),seal tightly and shake gently to mix. 5. Store the jar in a cool, dark place for 4 weeks. 6. Shake the jar gently every day. 7. After infusion period, strain the mixture through a coffee filter or cheesecloth into a clean glass container.
