INFORMATION AND USES: Our Lemongrass oil is rich in citral (over 70%). Citral is made up of Neral and Geraniol. Lemongrass oil has anti-inflammatory activity (Boukhatem et al. 2014). Dilute Lemongrass oil into a carrier oil (below 0.5%) and rub it onto your skin. When Lemongrass oil is used in a diffuser and turned into a vapor, it has antifungal activity (Boukhatem et al. 2014). Because Lemongrass oil contains aldehydes, please use this oil sparingly. Lemongrass oil can irritate the skin and the mucous membranes if used in high concentrations. We recommend at a maximum concentration of around 0.7%-0.8%, use even less for children and during pregnancy. Add 3-4 drops of Lemongrass oil to your all-purpose house cleaner, dishes, and laundry and it will add a fresh and clean smell.  Reference
