NV271 Standard Strongbox

The DIY NV271 Standard Strongbox underdrive by Behemoth Drivetrain is engineered for extreme strength, low weight, and incredible performance.   We offer both a fully geared, assembled and ready to install model, AND a  DIY builder's model that is case only - allowing you to use and install your own gears. Gear Compatibility: The NV271 Standard Strongbox DIY case is designed to be compatible with NV271 and NV273 series gears.  These cases do not work with NP242 gears.  Coming soon we will be offering both fully geared versions of this Strongbox, as well as a 4:1 Rubicon version.   Billet Aluminum over Cast: Instead going cheap by using cast aluminum – which can be weakened by air pockets and the  repeated heating and cooling cycles of the casting process – we manufacture the Strongbox from solid Billet 6061 aircraft grade aluminum.  If strength, performance and durability are a priority – there’s no question billet is the way to go.
