Bell III SS-365 Left Hand Side Saddle Face-On Half-Mallet Broom Style Matte Putter
The Left Hand Bell III side-saddle in a half mallet design and often called a Face-On putter, provides a putting stroke that helps with the “Yips” so common for older golfers. Originally made famous by “Slammin Sam Snead,” the USGA initially claimed the side-saddle putter gave golfers too much of an advantage. It was later declared a conforming putter and allowed for USGA tournaments. Putter head weight is 365 grams. Straight steel shaft. Minimal Toe-hang for slight arc putter stroke. Right hand putter shown for display only. Listing is for a left handed putter. The putter lie is upright at 79 degrees and within USGA Guidelines to allow usage in USGA events. The side-saddle is often the answer for the senior player with back pain from practice putting with standard length putters. Left-handed side-saddle half mallet putter milled from 303 Stainless Steel billets. Standard weighted (365 grams) mallet heel-toe-weighted putter design in a side-saddle (face-on) broom style putter.
