We all have dreams. When I was 19 I said I wanted to be a studio potter and I have been since 2006, which is incredible. In 2020, when the world shutdown a thought crept in my head: what would a home studio be like? In just seemed like a dream, but that dream got louder in my head. I have always been the person who pushes more and more. To be honest, I was getting tired. The thought of having a studio at home seemed easier.  A lot of people thought I made a rash decisions to sell my old studio or the business was failing. It was neither of those things. I was just tired and wanted to make things easier for myself. I wanted to be a country potter who could take breaks tending to their vegetable garden or walking in the woods. Maybe even catch a quick nap in my hammock.  This piece is for that dream, for the dreamers. Sit and drink your beverage, eat your cookie, and make that plan for your dream. Dreams can true! Each mug is made from stoneware clay and decorated with colorful squares.
