Thornessa, pink tourmaline sterling silver collector ring
This collector’s piece is one of a kind. I cannot recreate it once sold. For the winter rose that keeps its color long after the garden has gone to sleep. An extra large natural pink tourmaline, cut in a large pear shaped rose cut, rests in the heart of this Thornessa ring. The stone holds a vivid berry pink hue with visible inclusions and a soft schiller, more like lake a sugar dusted cranberry. Leaf prongs climb over the edges and hold the gem in place, and the band is built by hand in solid sterling so the ring feels more like a relic from a cold stone keep than ordinary jewelry. This is the boldest color in the Hexxmas Elves update, all altar fruit and winter roses rather than holiday tinsel. A single thorned rose of Wynter, set at the center of the hand. Stone: 18.5 carat natural pink tourmaline (1" tall), rose cut pear Metal: 10g of hand crafted solid sterling silver Finish: oxidized and hand polished so the details and texture stand out Sizing: stones shown loosely set
