Forge Ahead copper bracelets
Pat Blair, the artist behind Forge Ahead, splits his time between Humboldt County, California, and Petersburg, Alaska. One of his sisters took him to a working metal sculptor's studio when he was a boy, and he was immediately taken with this medium. As soon as he earned enough money, he purchased a set of tanks and torches and learned to weld and braize with them. Fast forward 50 years, and a variety of jobs and experiences later, and Pat now does a lot of fun things with torches and metal. On a job a number of years ago, Pat was given some scrap copper from a sheetmetal job.
