Run by Chief Creative Officer Dorian and her daughter Zoe, Nic + Zoe describes itself as a "fiercely female" clothing brand. The company got its start in 2006, after Dorian noticed that  women's clothing just wasn't measuring up. Whoever was designing it wasn't really considering real women.
