In such events, the transmitters will immediately send a radio signal wirelessly to the Alarm Clock Receiver, and you will be alerted with loud sounds, bright flashing lights, and strong vibrations from the bed shaker which will be sure to wake hard of hearing, deaf or heavy sleepers. From the Alarm Clock Receiver, you can quickly distinguish between the smoke/fire alarm and the carbon monoxide alarm with the colored LEDs (red for smoke/fire, red and orange quickly alternating lights for carbon monoxide). The backup batteries on the Alarm Clock Receiver can keep it fully functional even during a power outage.
